DESCRIPTION:Andes Manta (World Music\, Peruvian)\n\nFood Truck: Mai Chau\n\nSunday July 26 \n\n\n\nThe musicians of Andes Manta believe that through their music they bring a rare opportunity for cultural understanding between the people of their homeland\, South America\, and the people of modern North America.  Although Andean music has been played in South America for thousands of years\, its beginnings have been lost in the mists of time. Despite the mystery\, this vibrant and powerful music continues to be played from Colombia to Tierra del Fuego\, with none better than the four Lopez brothers.  Playing more than 35 traditional instruments\, Andes Manta is well known for their virtuosity and extraordinary performances at Carnegie Hall\, the Discovery Channel\, the National Cathedral\, Lincoln Center and hundreds of schools and festivals.  - See more at: http://www.granvillerec.org/programs-sports/concerts-on-the-green-2/#sthash.0l3pJb1H.dpuf\n\n\n\nFREE performances on Denison University's Fine Arts Quad\, 338 West Broadway\, Granville (if rain   held in Burke Hall). Vehicles parked in the driveway leading to Burke Hall are subject to ticketing and/or towing. Performances may not be taped without the explicit permission of the artists.
