Born in Dayton\, Ohio\, and currently living in Ripley\, Hagedorn has authored three other books: "The Invisible Soldiers\," "Wild Ride\," and "Ransom." Hagedorn has taught writing at Columbia\, Northwestern\, Miami\, and Xavier universities and she also was a staff writer for the Wall Street Journal\, New York Daily News\, and San Jose Mercury News. The Friends of the Ohio Governor's Residence and Heritage Garden is a non-partisan 501(c)3 organization dedicated to promoting Ohio's history and future through education\, preservation\, and conservation.
