DESCRIPTION:Denison Art Space in Newark presents "Land of Legends: Printmaking Workshop" for children ages 5 to 10 as part of Licking County FAMFEST 2017. Taught by Denison studio art professor Ron Abram and his studio art students\, this workshop will use simple DIY printmaking techniques to create artworks inspired by the landmarks of Newark and Licking County. Participants will leave the workshop with unique\, colorful and multi-textural works of art. There are 10 spots available in the workshop. To reserve a spot\, email denisonartspace@denison.edu. Licking County FAMFEST 2017 is a celebration of film\, art\, and music with the people living\, working\, and studying around Licking County\, Ohio. FAMFEST was founded on the belief that experiences in film\, arts and music can be a catalyst for personal\, social and economic transformation.
