Mantillake\, trained in the traditional Kandyan Dance of Sri Lanka\, will discuss his research on Sri Lankan performers who were brought to Europe and the U.S. for colonial exhibitions. Mantillake is a dancer\, choreographer\, researcher\, and an educator\, has recently received his doctorate from the School of Theatre\, Dance\, and Performance Studies at the University of Maryland.
