DESCRIPTION:The Women's and Gender Studies Film Festival presents a screening of the documentary "The Uncondemned\," moderated by Joanna Tague\, assistant professor of history\, international studies and black studies at Denison. "The Uncondemned" tells the gripping and world-changing story of a group of young international lawyers and activists who fought to make rape a war crime\, and the Rwandan women who came forward to testify and win justice where there had been none. The film festival takes place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evenings from March 13 to April 24\, in Slayter Auditorium. The films include: "Radio Kobani" on March 13\, "After Tiller" on March 27\, "As I Open My Eyes" on April 3\, "The Uncondemned" on April 10\, "The Apology" on April 17\, and "AWOL" on April 24.
