Other events include "When We Left our Home(stead): Life Choices\, Careers\, Professions" from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. on Friday\, April 7\, in the Barney Davis Hall Boardroom\; "Welcome to the Homestead: The Ever-evolving Experiment\," a Denison Museum opening\, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday\, April 7\, at the Denison Museum and "Forty Years and Counting: Festivities at the Homestead" from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday\, April 8\, at the Homestead. The Homestead is a student residential option based on sustainable technologies\, simplicity in life choices\, consciousness about energy consumption and food production\, and community decision making. The Homestead is a unique community that exemplifies Denison's mission as a liberal arts college.
