Stern holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Denison University\, a Master of Science in Chemistry from University of Michigan\, and Doctorate in Chemistry from Princeton University. Additionally\, he served as a Postdoctoral Associate with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
