DESCRIPTION:The Denison University Jazz Guitar Festival\, a labor of love for local favorite Tom Carroll\, offers more of the brilliant jazz guitar music that festival-goers have come to expect. Carroll\, a renowned guitarist and recently retired instructor at the college\, continues to coordinate the festival\, which is the longest-running jazz guitar festival in the world. \n\n\n\nThis year's event takes place on Saturday and Sunday\, Oct. 24\, and 25 in Burke Hall (240 West Broadway)\, and features jazz guitar greats including Bucky Pizzarelli\, Ed Laub\, Frank Vignola and Larry Coryell. "Jazz guitar is living\, evolving music\," says Carroll.
