DESCRIPTION:43rd Annual Granville Firecracker Five \n\n5-Mile Foot Race / 3.1-Mile Walk \n\nThe oldest continuously run foot race in Central Ohio!\n\n \n\nMonday July 4\, 2016\, 7:45am \n\n \n\nSponsored by the Granville Rotary Club\n\n \n\n Disposable Chip Timing\n\n Fast\, accurate out-and-back course\n\n Water on course & at finish\n\n Fresh fruit at finish\n \n\nAwards for only the 5-mile race will be given to the first 5 male and female overall finishers and to the first 3 finishers in each of the following age groups: U14\, 15-19\, 20-24\, 25-29\, 30-34\, 35-39\, 40-44\, 45-49\, 50-54\, 55-59\, 60-64\, 65-69\, 70-79 & 80+. No awards will be given nor times recorded for the 3.1 mile walkers.\n\n \n\nHeld in conjunction with the Granville Kiwanis Fourth of July Street Fair\, July 1 through July 4. Bring your family and enjoy the entertainment\, food\, games and rides. The race starts at Granville High School (248 New Burg Street) at 7:45am\, rain or shine. Check-in and post entries between 6:30 and 7:30am at the rear of Granville High School. Dressing and shower facilities are available at Granville High School provide your own towel and lock. Any runner twelve years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult on the course.\n\n \n\nA pre-registration entry fee of $32 (5-mile) and/or $29 (3.1mile)\, which includes a 2016 Firecracker Five shirt (sizes are distributed on a first-come\, first-serve basis on race day)\, must accompany this form and be emailed or postmarked to: Granville Rotary Firecracker Five\, c/o Second Sole Racing\, 1245 North Hamilton Road\, Gahanna\, OH 43230 or be delivered to the Race Committee (Granville Village Hall\, 141 East Broadway\, Granville) on or before June 24th. \n\n \n\nEntry fee of $35 (5-mile) and/or $32 (3.1mile) on race day or if postmarked after June 24th.
