DESCRIPTION:Granville's most attended and energetic Thanksgiving celebration\, the Granville Turkey Trot\, has opened registration for this year's event\, taking place at 9:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day\, Thursday\, Nov. 24. Thanks to generous sponsors\, all proceeds of the 5K fun run/walk benefit the Food Pantry Network of Licking County. In each of the past several years\, more than $100\,000 was raised to feed the hungry in Licking County. Charges are $35 for adults\, $12 for ages 6-13. Dogs can be official runners\, too   for $5 they can join and wear a special Granville Turkey Trot bandana. Folks who aren't running or walking can still participate and help feed the hungry in Licking County by registering as a 'virtual runner' for $35. The first 2\,500 registered will receive a T-shirt.
