DESCRIPTION:This workshop will be a very accessible introduction to encaustic painting. Encaustic is a vastly historic medium that is experiencing resurgence in the contemporary art world. Come study with encaustic artist Jes Moore and learn the basics of encaustic painting techniques. Each student will have the opportunity to create two small pieces the day of class and have materials and instruction enough to take home and experiment with!
