DESCRIPTION:The 4th Licking County Solar Tour & Open House will take place Saturday\, October 1 from 9am - 1pm.  This tour is in conjunction with the American Solar Energy Society's (ASES) National Solar Tour.\n\n \n\nThe Tour will start at C-TEC (150 Price Rd\, Newark\, OH 43055) promptly at 9am with an Open House of their new Net Zero House.  On display will also be a few electric cars owned by Licking County residents.\n\n \n\nFollowing this will be an opportunity to view three Licking County homes that are currently utilizing solar power to offset some or all of their electric use.  \n\n \n\nEvans Residence\n\n226 S. Main St.\n\nGranville\, Ohio 43023\n\nUtilizes: Passive Solar and Solar Photovoltaics installed on a garage roof.  \n\nSystem Size: 2.12 kW\n\n \n\nRouse Residence\n\n6297 Lafayette Rd.\n\nGranville\, Ohio 43023\n\nUtilizes: Battery/Energy Storage\, Passive Solar\, Photovoltaics installed on the house roof\, Biomass Energy Efficient Features \n\nSystem Size: 9 kW\n\n \n\nPohm Residence\n\n4980 Chestnut Hills Rd.\n\nNewark\, Ohio 43055\n\nUtilizes: Photovoltaics installed on a barn roof.  \n\nSystem Size: 20 kW - offsetting 100% of the home's electric use.\n\n \n\n\n	\n		\n			\n			 \n			\n		\n	\n\n\nYou can choose to take the guided tour of these three residences that will carpool from C-TEC or you can visit any of these homes on Saturday from 9am - 1pm.\n\n \n\nQuestions can be directed to David Rouse - drouse@windstream.net \n\n \n\nBrought to you by the Licking County Solar Cooperative and C-TEC.
