SUMMARY:Shred It Day!
DESCRIPTION:BRING YOUR DOCUMENTS TO SHRED AND BRING YOUR BOOKS TO DONATE!\n\nGranville Rotary Club Hosts Shred-It Day and Book Drive on October 22nd\n\n \n\nThe Granville Rotary Club is sponsoring a Shred-It Day and a Book Drive on Saturday\, October 22\, 2016 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Ross' Granville Market (484 S. Main Street\, Granville\, OH 43023). Shred-It: The document shred-it service benefits Rotary International's End Polio Now campaign to eradicate polio worldwide. There is no limit on the number of boxes which can be brought for shredding. Granville Rotary requests that participants make a donation per box at their discretion. Book Drive: The book drive benefits The Children's Reading Foundation of Licking County which educates families about their important role in raising a reader. New and gently used books will be collected for distributing to young people (0 to 18 years) throughout Licking County. Club members will help with unloading documents and books and taking donations. For more information\, please visit granvillerotary.org.\n\n \n\nAbout Rotary International End Polio Now Campaign\n\nSince this global initiative began more than 25 years ago\, Rotary and its partners have reduced polio cases by 99.9% percent worldwide. Polio still exists in three countries (Nigeria\, Afghanistan and Pakistan) and critical funding is needed for the final push to end polio forever.\n\n \n\nAbout The Children's Reading Foundation of Licking County\n\nThis organization's mission is to promote the message "Read With A Child 20 Minutes Every Day" and advocate for school and community efforts that ensure children read at grade level by the end of 3rd grade. \n\n \n\nAbout Granville Rotary Club\n\nGranville Rotary is dedicated to making Rotary's motto\, "Service Above Self" become a reality every day in the lives of its members. With an average of 80 members\, the club is extraordinarily active with projects in Club Service\, Community Service\, Vocational Service and International Service. The club also supports a separate non-profit foundation\, the Granville Rotary Foundation\, which is the repository for proceeds from various annual fundraising activities which are then granted to worthwhile local\, regional\, national and international programs and service projects. We extend a warm welcome to business\, professional and community leaders who would like to be united worldwide to provide humanitarian service\, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations\, and help to build goodwill and peace in the world. If you are interested in becoming a new member\, please visit www.granvillerotary.org or join us for a meeting on Mondays at noon at the Granville Inn. \n\n \n\nContact Connie Hawk\, Granville Rotary Club\, Public Image Committee Chair\n\nPhone: 740-334-1265\; Email: constancehawk.1@gmail.com
