DESCRIPTION:We all have a picture in our head of volcanic eruptions\, but what actually happens before\, during\, and after an eruption? Dr. Erik Klemetti will highlight a number of famous eruptions including the 1912 eruption of Katmai in Alaska\, the 2010 eruption of Eyjafjallaj kull in Iceland\, and the 2018 eruption at Kilauea in Hawaii. Dr. Klemetti is an associate professor of Geosciences and a volcanologist at Denison University.
