A Walk and Rally in Memory of Jean Mellars to fund Lung Cancer Research
Breathe Deep Newark is a 1.5 mile or 3 mile untimed walk/fun run. Newark and surrounding communities will walk along the OSU/COTC campus and rally at the Rotary Park Pavilion to raise awareness and funds to end lung cancer. Refreshments, an Honor Wall, music, raffles and a silent auction will keep you busy as well as a play area for the children. The path and walk area are stroller and wheelchair friendly.

Rotary Park Pavilion, 925 Sharon Valley Rd., Newark. (across from the Lou and Gib Reese Ice Arena)
The walk will begin and end at Rotary Pavilion.
Fees/Admission
Adult: $25
Lung cancer survivor: $15
Senior (60 years or older): $15
Student (with valid ID): $15
Youth (13 years or younger): $10
Family (3 or more): $65
* Only participants who register online before April 19 will be guaranteed a commemorative event t-shirt.
Awards will be given to the top 3 fundraising teams and the top individual fundraiser. Goody bags will be given to the first 50 at check-in.
