Denison: Performance rtist Guillermo Gomez-Pena
The Studio Art program and the Modern Languages Department welcome performance artist Guillermo Gómez-Peña presenting a brand new spoken-word monologue with a special cameo performance by Balitronica Gómez aka San Francisco’s super-heroine “The Phantom Mariachi” who stands against eviction, deportation and the erasure of complex identities. Gómez-Peña is a performance artist, writer, activist, radical pedagogue and director of the performance troupe La Pocha NostraTickets are free but require reservation.
