Staying Active with Arthritis
Staying Active with Arthritis
Exercise is an important part of staying healthy when diagnosed with arthritis. Physical activity supports joint function, decreases pain and stiffness, improves mobility and lessens fatigue. Many people with arthritis are reluctant to exercise, due to pain and the fear of injury; however, exercise can help keep your muscles strong and prevent further joint damage. Join Kerri Marks, LMHS Physical Therapist, to learn how to safely and effectively exercise with arthritis. Space is limited, and registration is required.
