The second and third works are both offered by Chicago choreographer and Denison Alum Molly Shanahan. The first is a quartet to music played by Third Coast Percussion (Chicago) with movement developed in partnership with her signature fluid\, spiralic phrase work. The second is a large ensemble work for self-identified 'non-dancers' that asks performers to soften muscular armoring and create/share an environment of collaboration\, vulnerability\, and compassion. The final work\, offered by Associate Professor Ojeya Cruz Banks\, celebrates the Black Student Union's 50th anniversary event in a performance work that includes narration and song.
