Job Description


Experienced kitchen professional to assist with the daily operation of a volume institutional food-service

operation and culinary arts classroom that serves a variety of on site prepared, USDA compliant school lunches to approximately 600 secondary students daily. Perform closing responsibilities, Keep accurate daily production records, maintain compliance with health codes and perform sanitation duties, Assist with ordering, receiving, storing, and inventorying food and supplies using appropriate technology when applicable, Safety operate volume food and non-food kitchen equipment, Apply basic preparations and cooking techniques in order to prepare food, Supervise lunch services from multiple food likes, Assist students in related tasks and assignments to support learning in the culinary arts and restaurant management program, Model professional industry behavior in the areas of communication, time management, critical thinking and problem solving.
