SUMMARY:Art in a Time of War & Dear Ukraine: A Global Community Poem
DESCRIPTION:Dear Ukraine: A Global Community Poem Dear Ukraine is a global community poem that provides a space for individuals around the world to speak to the unfolding atrocities of the war against Ukraine and its people. Dearukrainepoem.com \n\nOlga Morozova and her students from the College of Arts and Design of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design continue to create and study art while under fire. Despite the days and nights of shelling\, the piercing howl of sirens\, and the anxiety of living through this unjust\, unprovoked war\, this exhibition asks how to find the inner silence necessary for artistic creation and education. Olga and her students continue to meet for regular classes in cold workshops without power or in the subway station during shelling. Art remains a means of survival and endurance.
