The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology welcomes a limited engagement glass exhibition highlighting the work of current Artist in Residence, Andrew Newbold. ?Dichotomy? will open to the public with an artist reception on Thursday, December 19 from 6-8:00 p.m. ?Dichotomy? is a collection of various glass works and assemblages created by Newbold. He works with glass and various other media to produce objects and installations. Newbold?s work draws from life, experience, and sense of place while being motivated by a strong passion for making. His recent work explores both urban and rural landscapes, referencing architectural elements and incorporating found objects. Meet this talented glass artist and enjoy beverages and light appetizers while browsing this impressive collection of glass work. All work is on display and available for purchase through December 21. The Works is an interactive learning center where people of all ages can have fun and be inspired by the history, technology and artistic accomplishments of the community we serve.
