Join us to knit an adorable and soft teddy bear. We will be knitting an Izzy Doll pattern. We'll supply the yarn, eyes, and stuffing. You supply number 2 double-pointed needles (set of 5), a yarn needle, and scissors. Make one to keep or give as a gift. Program lasts two evenings, Dec. 1 & 2 from 6-8:00 pm. Izzy Dolls were created by the mother of Canadian Mcpl. Mark Isfeld who was killed in Croatia in 1994. She had started knitting them prior to his death so that he could distribute them to the children he encountered on his tour. To learn more about the story you can visit https://www.cmfmag.ca/cmf_profiles/over-20-years-later-the-izzy-doll-continues-to-give-children-joy/. For teens and adults. Prior knitting experience required. Register at GranvilleLibrary.org/calendar/month. Register by Monday, Nov. 30 at 12:00pm and pick supplies up that day.
