The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology welcomes Dr. Bill Kirkpatrick, Assistant Professor in the Communication Department at Denison University, as he presents ?Is the Internet Making Us Stupid?? Dr. Kirkpatrick will explore this ongoing debate and discuss current methods of communication, such as text messaging, and their influence on new forms of expression and creative use of language that would not have arisen without the constraints of the medium. The lecture will be held on Sunday, February 9 at 2 p.m. Admission is free for Members of The Works and general museum admission for Non-Members; $8/adult, $6 senior.
