At Denison University, classes will begin on Monday, Jan. 20, the traditional day of celebration for the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The college’s celebration of the civil rights leader with a day of education and engagement will take place on Monday, Jan. 27. The Denison MLK Day of Learning will feature a keynote lecture, "King’s Dream in the Age of Obama" by Kelly Brown Douglas, a member of the Denison class of 1979 and director of the religion program at Goucher College, at 1:30 p.m. in Swasey Chapel (200 Chapel Drive).
