The exhibition is open to the public and on display from Monday\, Feb. 17\, through Friday\, March 20.\nThe exhibition includes a range of artwork\, zines and printed matter created in two semesters of Studio Art Professor Ron Abram's "Queer Graphix" course. Cross-listed with Queer Studies\, This studio art course seeks to explore and creatively express queer culture\, aesthetics and GLBTQ+ history as well as notions of identity\, gender\, orientation and sexuality. Art students employ traditions of printmaking\, DIY self-publishing strategies and community collaboration to not only celebrate queer artistic practices but also revealthe often damaging impact society and politics has on self identity and expression. Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots\, students focused several projects around issues central to that important event. Its fitting the artwork they created in response to readings\, films and research would be displayed in Stonewall Columbus.\n\nIn addition to the Queer Graphix zines and prints\, Professor Abram invited several alum to participate in the exhibition. Including ceramics\, painting\, photography and sculpture\, the show features the work of Kate Aumiller ?19\, Ariel Baez ?16\, Tat Cha ?07\, Al Dilorenzo ?19\, Ivy Distler ?18\, Emma Reasoner ?15\, and Armando Roman ?19.
