Instructor/Coordinator Postsecondary Cosmetology Program

Job Type: Certified, 260 Days; Benefits

Location: Postsecondary Center

Description: Coordinates and instructs all aspects of postsecondary program areas(s) and all customized business and industry training projects as assigned. He/she oversees student recruitment and academic progress; initial entrance interview, financial aid, and assessment completion. Serves as lead instructor, and supervises instructors as assigned.

Qualifications: Must hold a current, valid advanced cosmetologist license issued by the State of Ohio and either a) has been in practice in a licensed beauty salon for at least 1800 or b) has successfully completed 1000 hours of board-approved cosmetology instructor training as an apprentice instructor.
Must hold or be willing to obtain a Cosmetology Instructor's License.
Must hold or be willing to obtain an Adult Education Teaching Permit.
