About Us

The Palumbo family, Cindy and Paul, have opened an Italian specialty market in Granville specializing in prepared foods traditionally found at Italian markets in the ethnic neighborhoods of Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and New York City.

Cindy's passion for cooking and Paul's experience being raised by an Italian family from South Philly and working in the family restaurant business created an appreciation for authentic Italian foods, homemade wines and pastries. We have spent the last two years traveling New York, Philadelphia, Columbus and Boston searching out and studying Italian foods and markets. Recent trips to France and Italy were planned specifically to research small local specialty shops to formulate ideas and establish wholesale sources.

Our primary focus is to provide prepared ready-to-cook foods such as pastas, meats, salads and breads for individuals and families who want fresh, healthy, non-fast food meals without the work to prepare them. We feature our own homemade sauces to create a unique Palumbo's version of traditional dishes.

The market includes a variety of imported meats and cheeses, fresh artisan breads, produce and pastries produced fresh daily.
