Denison University’s Associate Professor of Biology Heather Rhodes presenting “Shouting Over Waterfalls” in the SciDome at The Works. 

Animals have used sound to solve some pretty amazing problems, like finding food or navigating in the dark, communicating over long distances, and even finding each other in really noisy places – like waterfalls! Join Rhodes and discover some of the fascinating ways animals use sound and how that biology is inspiring new technology for humans.
