Books2Eat Edible Book Festival
The opportunity to eat your words, or the words of others, continues as Denison University Library celebrates the International Edible Books Festival.
Entries must be brought to the Library’s Atrium between 2-2:30 p.m. Each entry should feature works of edible art in the form of books, words, or inspirations from books. Past entries have been as simple, and witty, as suckers to represent Five Flavors of Dumb, to complex as a cake that replicated the cover of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Judging will include the following categories: Most Creative, Most Hilarious, Most Bookish, Best Presentation and Best of Show. Entries will be judged by four selected members of the Denison community between 2:30 and 3 p.m. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded by 3:15 p.m. After the awards presentation, all entries will be served and eaten! The event also includes afternoon tea with sandwiches and other savories and various hot and cold beverages.
