Denison University presents a Central Asia textile exhibition with an artist talk by members of VOICES International Art Initiative. The exhibit is on display in the Provost Dining Room from April 5 to April 6. Examples of traditional textiles, including weaving, embroidery, felt, patchwork, will be displayed to show the cultural traditions from regions of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and beyond. Some objects are contemporary and some are from the beginning of the last century. Come for a peek into the diverse textile traditions of Central Asia.
