Denison University Suzuki Music Program Information Meeting
The Denison University Suzuki Music Program will be offering an information session for those who are interested in learning more about the program.
Suzuki instruction is offered in piano, violin, viola, cello and flute for ages 3 to adult.
The Suzuki Method is a way of teaching music to children developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki who believed in fostering the potential in every young person. Just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue, Dr. Suzuki believed that any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability and other life-long skills with the help of a skilled and caring teacher and his or her parent.
The program currently has openings for the upcoming semester. To register for the information meeting or for further information please call Jim Van Reeth, director of the Denison University Suzuki Music program, at (740) 975-4644 or e-mail to: vanreethj@denison.edu
