Denison University’s Department of Women and Gender Studies, Laura C. Harris Fund, and Center for Black Studies presents a film screening of “Warrior Women.”
“Warrior Women” is the story of mothers and daughters fighting for indigenous rights in the American Indian Movement of the 1970s. The film unveils a female perspective of history and examines the impact political struggles have on the children who bear witness. Film Director Beth Castle and Madonna Thunder Hawk will lead a film discussion afterward via Skype.
