‘Reason, Science, Humanism and Progress’
Nestor Matthews, professor of psychology and neuroscience, presents a session of the Sigma Xi Science Cafe titled “Reason, Science, Humanism and Progress.” The event will begin with a brief video entitled “The Case for Reason, Science, Humanism, and Progress” by Harvard psychologist Steven Pinker. Following the video, Matthews will facilitate a discussion.
The event is free and open to the public. Recommended for ages 10 and older.
