Denison University's Beck Series welcomes author Lindsey Drager.
Drager is the author of three works of prose: “The Sorrow Proper,” “The Lost Daughter Collective,” and most recently “The Archive of Alternate Endings” which earned a starred Publisher’s Weekly review and was named a Best Book of 2019 in The Guardian and NPR. Her work has won a John Gardner Fiction Prize and a Shirley Jackson Award and received support from the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, the Vermont Studio Center, the I-Park Foundation, and the Anderson Center for Interdisciplinary Study. Recent fiction can be found in Michigan Quarterly Review, TriQuarterly, Cincinnati Review, Modern Fiction Studies, Slice Magazine, and elsewhere. The recipient of a 2020 NEA grant in prose, she is an assistant professor at the University of Utah.
